Hanging Basket Construction

 Hanging Basket Construction

The hanging basket ring is constructed using

an old wooden wagon wheel 4' outer ring.

Cut a 12" wide concrete pile tube 16" in length. Dig a hole to accommodate  the tubing and allow the tube to be above grade 6". Cut two openings in the top of the tubing the size of the steel ring.

Drill a hole in the wagon wheel ring and insert a 1/2"x 10" bolt . Fasten the bolt with jamb nuts on both sides of the ring to make the anchor bolt ridged and secure.

Build a temporary support frame to hold
the ring in place while the concrete sets.

Pour the concrete into the tube

Drill a hole in the top of the ring to accommodate
the support hook for the flower basket
